Profile
The Management Centre Bangor Business School was inaugurated in 2007 as a result of a £14m refurbishment of 5, Grade II listed buildings within the Bangor University campus. Established to provide the Business School's part-time, executive programmes, the Centre is a high quality teaching facility and a hub for the local business community. The Executive MBA is delivered in flexible, 4-day modular blocks, with a policy of rolling and open enrolment. The superb learning environment is matched by the caliber of the faculty and the student cohorts, which are fast gaining an excellent reputation for high standards.
Areas of specialisation
The Executive MBA is a general MBA, however, specialist elective streams in Strategic Leadership, Corporate Sustainability and Innovation, Public Sector Management, Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation and Banking and Finance highlight particular areas of expertise. Bangor Business School was awarded the No1 status in the UK for Research in Accounting and Finance in the Government's 2008 Research assessment Exercise (RAE).
