Profile
The University of Greenwich has been running Master's degree programmes for over 35 years.

The Greenwich MBA approaches leadership development thematically from the starting points of creativity, practicality and social resourcefulness. Personal development is a key theme of the programme, with executive coaching provided to help students understand their value in the market and to optimise their career potential. Building on a foundation of business functions, the MBA focuses on 'competence and confidence in the application and integration of business knowledge within a strategic business framework'.

Academic learning is complemented by experiential and practical learning using case studies, professional business simulations, and culminating in real-world consultancy engagements and business projects. The MBA attracts participants from many different disciplines and sectors and, in the case of the full time programme, from many countries across the globe, all with their own business and cultural experiences. This provides a unique opportunity for students to understand business from a truly diverse perspective and to forge long-lastingbusiness relationships, and friendships.

The part-time Executive MBA (Supported Open Learning) offers mature students the flexibility to balance work, home and study life. It is facilitated partly online and supplemented by occasional campus workshops. However, whether you choose the full-time MBA or the flexible delivery of the Executive MBA (SOL), the curriculum and learning outcomes are the same, addressing academic, practical and personal development needs in a holistic way.

The Business School is based on the Greenwich Campus, which is situated on a World Heritage Site on the banks of the River Thames. The university?s largest campus, it is centred on three baroque buildings, designed by Sir Christopher Wren at the end of the 17th century.
Areas of specialisation
The University of Greenwich conforms to the QAA specification for an MBA and hence does not allow functional specialism. We do offer specialist-sector MBAs such as an MBA that is contextualised for the maritime sector or for the financial services sector.
